4th of July Parades!
Hi everybody! If you would like to join in- in the parades this holiday,
here are 2 to choose from:

Hi All,
If you were planning to join us on July 4th in Villa Park to walk/dance in the parade sponsored by the VFW, attached is the where we will be lining up. We are Division #3, position #16, lining up at the east side of the Jewel. Please be there no later than 11:30 as the parade kicks off at noon. Everyone is welcome, as long as they're wearing some type of "belly dance" costuming. If you're bringing little ones, please note there is no place for them to sit if they get tired walking. Wagons would be great - decorate them up like a flying carpet. Please, no bicycles, tricycles, roller blades, skateboards, or any other mode of similar kids' transportation for the safety of the dancers and other walkers. Please feel free to bring zills, veils, tambourines, etc. We will have music played off the back of our Ford Mustang convertible (provided by Friendly Ford in Roselle). Hi Bellydancers!
Here is important 4th of July parade info. **We will not be bringing the Truck this year*** Please meet at my studio at 789 Main Street NO LATER than 9:15 am. We will leave the studio walking south on Main street to the corner of Bishop and Ida. You may also meet us at our parade location: # 69 BLUE (enter Bishop from Ida) . We should arrive at our parade location anywhere between 9:30 - 10am. Parade begins at 10am.
Main Street will be officially closed at 9:50am
Bring whatever bellydance items you fancy: zills, doumbek, veil, poi, poi-veil, cane, etc. A bag of candy to distribute during the parade would be appreciated. We will need dancers without bellydance accessories to help pass out candy and hiptastic! cards. We also have bubble wands for little dancers.
